🐾Lady Lola & her boys 🐾

As we come into the season of giving, Lola’s mission is in full swing. Rescues are overwhelmed and overflowing and need as much help and support as we are able to give. With help from our friends at @aldervetsguildford @onefaa_official @intersand_uk plus donations from general public we were able to head over to @lulusfriendsrescue to deliver food, toys, litter, treats, a cat house, plus so much more as you can see. Times are hard for many of us right now and giving doesn’t always mean in a financial way. We saw how wonderful it was for the cats to come out of their pens for strokes and chin rubs, never underestimate even the impact of 30 minutes could make spending time with them, food/litter donations always help and of course financial donations but that’s not always possible. We will be heading over there again before Christmas to make it extra special for any cats that will be there over the holidays. Our lovely Georgie-Bear 🧶 So happy to share the good news that all is ok! He had us quite worried especially as he is only 2 years old. He will heal and there is no reason he should have any issues with this in the future. Deep breath, next up Teddy is going for his teeth extraction tomorrow. We really have had a challenging few months with all 3 of them and one can only hope that once we get Teddy through tomorrow we will be able to look forward to the festivities with 3 healthy furballs, that was my only Christmas wish anyway. Our little Georgie-Bear 🥹 Please do keep him in your thoughts and prayers whilst we wait for his results. He’s been snuggling with Lola most of the day. Why does it always seem so long when you are waiting for test results! Genuinely I thought he had fallen/jumped awkwardly but the vet said that whatever is going on in his leg has been there a while. No obvious breaks on the X-Ray or CT but the biopsy fluid has been sent off now, I don’t think we will find out until next week what that looks like. We should find out the initial findings hopefully tomorrow 🙏🏻 We are having a bit of a tough time of it after Lola’s scare a little while ago.
