Where my Tarantula friends at? : Is this Lasiodora parahybana ? Found in the amazon region of Colombia. This particular friendly fellow was used to help @innerbark understand spiders on a trip down in the jungle. Extremely docile, these large tarantulas can be found both in the jungle, and in man-made structures as a natural pest deterrent. The Dreadnought of Travel Traveling for work always keeps me on my toes—especially when it comes to figuring out how to bring all these heavy and long items into the United States. My job requires me to travel with some pretty unconventional gear, and over time, I've developed a keen interest in seeing how luggage holds up under the rigors of airport travel. Watching professional crews and seeing how different bags endure over time, I can confidently say that @travelprointl stands out among the best. Oddly enough, from my last ocean expedition, I still have one of those Walmart outdoor-brand cheap dry bags. Believe it or not, they’ve really proven their worth—especially during jungle trips. I think @tanimboca_knives still has his, too! This time around, I wrapped mine in this Smurf-balloon-like wrap at the airport and managed to pack a decent number of machetes. As always, my trusty @vanquestgear1 bag traveled like a champ. But for something a bit different, I tried a Samsonite four-wheeled golf bag to bring back swords. It got the job done, but let me tell you—lugging it around was not fun. George, who’s a regular on @bushcraftglobal Amazon expeditions, makes some of the best camp cooking gear out there. I was lucky enough to buy one of his stoves during @georgiabushcraft event, and it has been a total game-changer! Even though I like it on camping trips, it truly came to the rescue this Thanksgiving! 🦃 When our neighbor's brand-new oven needed a deep clean before it could be used, we turned to a roaring fire and this trusty reflector oven to reheat all the food.
