If you ever get the chance, go alone walk alone, travel alone, live alone, dance alone just for a night, just for a while. If you ever get the chance, learn who you are when the world isn’t demanding you be one way or another. Most people only know how to stand if someone else is beside them don’t let that be your story. If you ever get the chance, know that the opportunity to walk alone even for a short while, is a gift unlike any other one that can hand you insight that can change the rest of your life. - Brianna Wiest #solofemaletravel #traveltherapy #solotravel

How to look your best on your long haul flight! Less is more! 💙 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m Sarah! I’ve travelled to over 70 countries! Follow @jetlagsarah for travel tips ✨ ✈️ Flying is not good for your skin! So no makeup or as little as possible is the best. ✈️ Always make sure you have the right skincare that is moisturising and hydrating for your skin! Use serums and a great moisturiser. ✈️ Depending on what your skin needs, I sugggest only a light concealer, cream blush and mascara/eyeliner. Believe it or not, this is ALL I use if I wear makeup. I just add lipstick when I’m working. ✈️ Skip all the heavy powders and foundations! ❗️ I’ve created a guide with beauty tips and my favourite beauty products for a long haul flight, all tsa-approved! Comment 👉🏽 “BEAUTY” and I’ll send it to you 🙏🏽 ✈️ Use a hydrating facial spray or moisturiser skin stick during the flight. ✈️ The air in an aircraft is dry af. Rub your moisturiser in your palms and gently dab it on your face during the flight. ✈️ Use chapstick and a coloured lipgloss. Liquid lipsticks are way too drying! ✈️ Keep hand sanitizer and hand cream with you, although washing your hands regularly is better. ✈️ If you have dry under eyes, you can use eye patches, but I just dab a little bit of eye cream under my eyes during my flight. 💙 You’ll can look awake, fresh and natural! xo Sarah #solotravel #solofemaletravel #longhaulflight #internationalflight #airportlife #womenwhotravel #travelessentials

What to do in 48 hours in Singapore 🇸🇬 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m Sarah! I’ve travelled to over 70 countries as a flight attendant and solo traveller! Follow @jetlagsarah for more ✨ 🇸🇬 A visit to Marina Bay Sands, Bayfront, Gardens By the Bay and Ce La Vie is a must! There is a light show in the evening at the Marina and at Gardens By The Bay. 🇸🇬 Kaya Toast is a local toast with jam and butter. Sweet, but owh so good! 🇸🇬 Arab Street and Haji Lane is a great neighbourhood. Check out the Golden Mosque, grab a coffee or dinner and have a drink later on. 🇸🇬 Eat at a hawker centre! This is where all the street food stalls are. My favourite is Maxwell in Chinatown, but there are a few. It’s best to do a little of research on where to eat. 🇸🇬 If you still have the time, I would definitely visit Joo Chiat Road. The area is really beautiful and you’ll find some nice restaurants and bars. 🇸🇬 Don’t forget to check out the waterfall at the airport on your way back! ✨ Grab my 101 Solo Female Travel Tips guide 👉🏽 comment “CONFIDENCE” 🙏🏽 #solofemaletravel #solotraveltips #traveltherapy #singaporetrip #singaporetravel #womenwhotravelsolo #solotravelstories

✈️ How to survive a long haul flight in economy! 🙋🏽‍♀️ I’m Sarah! I’ve travelled to over 70 countries as a flight attendant and solo traveller! Follow @jetlagsarah for more ✨ 1. Do NOT travel without the LONG HAUL FLIGHT essentials! Things like: - earplugs - noise cancelling headphones - snacks - entertainment - proper neckpillow ❗️Get the full FLIGHT ESSENTIALS GUIDE 👉🏽 comment “✈️✈️✈️” and I’ll send it to you 2. Wear something comfortable and layers. The temperature is never perfect for all passengers. 3. Choose your seat. Take the aisle seat if you need to get up more, maybe extra leg room or the window seat if you just want to sleep. 4. Order a meal if you have dietary restrictions. 5. Always bring your own entertainment in case the IFE sucks. Download movies or bring Kindle. 6. Make an inflight bag with all your essentials that you can stow underneath the seat in front of you. 7. Bring your own noise cancelling headphones and connect them with iFly. 8. Recline your seat for more comfort. Seats can always be reclined except during meal service or landing/take off. 9. Relax! Take this time to chill and binge watch your favourite show. 10. If you have flying anxiety, tell your flight attendant. It’s our job to help you and hopefully take the stress away. ❓Questions?
