Finally hemmed and wore my new pants I sewed from the @sewhouse7 #freerangeslacks pattern. They are a lovely wool/wool blend I bought @empiremakespace . Only thing is in my rush I hemmed them a tad too short. After a few opinions of confirmation to this I will be picking out the stitches for a rehem.

My granddaughter wished for a Christmas tree of her own for her birthday. I thought her tree would definitely need a skirt!

A t-shirt top made from leftovers from a pair of pants. The greatest stretch of this fabric was in the same direction of the stripes. I didn't like the look of horizontal stripes and as the fabric wasn't super stretchy I decided to cut it out with the stripes going up and down hence the leftovers.

Red velvet Christmas concert dress requested by my granddaughter. It is made from a stretch velvet, perfect for comfort and washability. I gave her several choices of ribbons and brooches. She shone!

Floppy, floaty, flappy leg pants is what my eight year granddaughter loves these days. I made her a bunch experimenting with different fabrics: cozy knits and soft corduroy.
