Today, as @wear_it_purple Day marks its 15th anniversary, we proudly joined the celebration – standing in solidarity with #LGBTQ+ youth and reaffirming our commitment to a workplace where everyone feels safe, seen and supported. 🌈 Hosted by Lisa Story, who shared her personal journey and the importance of an inclusive culture at work, we were honoured to welcome our guest speaker @abbiejane09, Founder of the @rainbowshoelaceproject to our offices. At just 12 years old, Abbie, alongside her friend Max Dawnn, launched the Rainbow Shoelace Project in their hometown of Broken Hill. Their mission was simple but powerful: to show visible support for the LGBTQ+ community by handing out Pride flag beads to wear on shoelaces. The meaning behind the beads is symbolic: when people are happy, they look up and see rainbows in the sky. But when someone feels scared, uncomfortable, or alone, they often look down. The beads serve as a gentle reminder that even in those moments, it’s good to look up at the rainbows. To support the Rainbow Shoelace Project, our team came together for a bead packing activity in support of the #RainbowShoelaceProject – helping spread messages of #love, #inclusion, and #equality, one shoelace at a time. 💜

As part of our commitment to Plastic Free July, we launched the Sustain-a-Bowl Pantry – a reusable container program designed to reduce single-use packaging – for our employees in our corporate offices in Melbourne and Sydney. After one month of use, we’re pleased to report: 🚫 1,000+ takeaway containers and cups diverted from landfill 📉 7.6kg reduction in landfill waste in July (when compared to July 2024) ♻️ Mixed recycling waste stream contamination dropped by 55% in July (compared to the average from April to June) 🌱 Organic waste stream contamination dropped by 27% in July (compared to the average from April to June) Cleaner waste streams mean our people are making thoughtful choices and placing the right items in the right bins. Thanks to the Investa teams for embracing this initiative and whose support has made a measurable impact. @returnr

Another successful Daffodil Day has passed, and we’re really pleased to have raised $19,796, across our portfolio, in support of the @cancercouncil's life-saving cancer research. 14 of our assets across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane transformed our lobbies into Daffodil Day flower markets, with all proceeds going to The Cancer Council. This year we also supported the Daffodil Day Dip initiative, where occupants at 567 Collins Street, Melbourne and Parkline Place, Sydney were invited to take a cold plunge at @virginactiveaustralia, Collins Street and @premierfitnesscity, Sydney. For every dip registered throughout August, Investa is proudly donating $20 to The Cancer Council.

Congratulations to @buildcorpgroup, @hassell_studio and the Investa team for receiving the Excellence in Fitout $5M - $10M award for the XLCR End of Trip Facilities at #120CollinsStreet, Melbourne at the @masterbuildersvic Excellence in Construction #Awards. The three-floor revitalisation has elevated the building’s upper ground and basement levels, with new premium End of Trip facilities, including high-quality change rooms, bike storage, accessible amenities, as well as a first-of-its-kind Coelux light fitting capable of simulating day and moonlight in the main entry staircase. 🔗Read more at the link in our bio.

One year since the launch of Sydney Metro City – and over 66 million trips later – it’s clear the new metro infrastructure is reshaping how Sydney moves. We’re proud to have three strategically positioned overstation buildings that redefine how Sydney lives and works: @parklineplace, Indi Sydney, and @39martinplace. Parkline Place and Indi Sydney rise above Gadigal Station – now the second busiest in the network – supporting over 4,000 workers and more than 500 residents, and offering direct access to world-class transport, premium amenity, and vibrant community spaces. Located within the highly acclaimed Martin Place Metro Precinct, 39 Martin Place sits directly above the southern entrance to Sydney Metro’s busiest station, offering 30,000sqm of Premium-grade workspace and 1,500sqm of luxury and concourse retail in the heart of the CBD. Happy birthday Sydney Metro! @oxfordpropgroup @mitsubishi_estate_group @cpb_contractors @batessmart @fosterandpartners @tzarchitecture @manulife @macquariegroup @lendlease

Level 5 of #120CollinsStreet, Melbourne welcomed its newest tenants with two new beehives and more than 120,000 honeybees moving in. The carefully selected rooftop location offers optimal conditions for bee health including a protected height that conserves energy, easy access to nearby urban gardens – including 120 Collins’ own courtyard, and protection from wind tunnels. Our second beehive partnership with @rooftopbees, the hives assist with pollination, #biodiversity and protecting nature’s delicate balance. Two lucky occupants suited up as beekeepers to help release the bees, who now forage across a 5-kilometre radius and covering approximately 78.5 square kilometres in search of their favourite blooms. The bees will soon begin producing honey (up to 100 kilograms each year!) which will be harvested sustainably, with no more than half collected at a time, and shared with the 120 Collins community. The #120Collins community is currently helping us name our two Queen Bees. We’ll be crowning our Queens at the end of the month!

In celebration of Brisbane’s iconic Ekka, we brought a taste of tradition to 259 Queen Street and 179 Turbot Place – surprising our occupants with complimentary strawberry ice cream in the lobby! It was a great way to bring the festive Ekka spirit into our buildings and share a little joy (and sugar) with our community. Massive thanks to @vintageicecreamcart for delivering the treats to us!

☔️ 👟 When #Sydney served up a downpour, our team ran straight through all 14 kilometres of it! While most were curled up with a cuppa, 13 Investa team members – along with their equally committed families and cheer squads – laced up for Sunday’s @city2surf. The rain was relentless, but so was the energy of the 90,000-strong crowd. It wasn’t your typical #raceday, so a big congratulations to our drenched, driven and determined runners: Amy Wild GAICD Adam Crowe Brendan O’Brien Emma Moran Corinna Vogt Christine Yang Alan Beaver Peta Jacobsen Amy Huang Carter Solari Lara Hutcheson Julio Chavez Emma Klimov.

Ekka … Strawberry Sundae Week 💕🍓🍦 Kicking off with some strawberry cheesecake, boysenberry & spotty cow scoops topped with Bertie Beetles, Sprinkles & Pink Sherbert! for the team at @investapropertygroup #vintageicecreamcart #icecream #icecreamcarthire #brisbane #icecreamlover #ekka

The tallest building in Australia for 14 years – and still regarded as the country’s tallest office tower – #120CollinsStreet stands proudly in #Melbourne’s prestigious ‘Paris-end’ of the central business district. We’re celebrating our 25th birthday this year and featuring some of our most iconic buildings to recognise the contribution they’ve made to shaping our cities and modern workplaces. Completed in 1991 and acquired by Investa in 2003 as part of the Principal Office Fund take-over, 120 Collins Street was designed by architectural firm, @hassell_studio. An example of post-modernist architecture, 120 Collins Street had a significant makeover last year – also done by Hassell – that created a new lobby with double and triple-height glass walls with floating mezzanines and a gallery-style glass atrium roof with a bookable Sky Deck. The new lobby space provides connectivity both to Collins and Little Collins Streets and all of the retail and dining the area affords but also for the occupants of the building with so many spaces in which to catch up. The newly refurbished 120 Collins Street is a great example of how a well-designed building that encourages connection is helping bring people back to our CBDs and offices.
