It’s in our favorite neighborhood in Rhode Island and we couldn’t pass it up. After searching for our first home for years in this crazy housing market, we decided the best decision would be to buy a fixer upper. 12 Days of DIY’s - number 3..our bathroom wallpaper install 💚 I’m still so happy we went with this sage green wallpaper in our bathroom makeover, it set the tone for the whole room and is the perfect calming backdrop for a room we use every day. I know I’m annoying that I can’t just choose a normal paint color without color matching it or turning it into a science experiment, but sometimes you need to tweak it to be just right! Colors can change so much depending on what direction the room faces, how much natural light it gets, what surface it’s on, etc. Accessible Beige is a classic color and such a pretty neutral that really makes our white quartz countertops pop, and after lightening it a little it’s exactly what I had hoped for. Originally I had planned on painting the cabinets a French blue and the walls a neutral color in our kitchen, but after many of you suggested it would be much easier to repaint walls than cabinets if I don’t like it (very true) I decided to swap it and do the blue on the walls with neutral cabinets.
