Earlier this month we caught up with @faronalexpaul who runs @faz.amnesty an organisation tackling youth violence and knife crime through a range of various initiatives such as local neighbourhood patrols, online advocacy and more . The Faz Amnesty Team joined us at The @ubeleinitiative offices for a tour of the @wolveslanecentre to discuss potential ideas moving forward to help better support and engage young people . Peoples in the last 8 weeks I have had more communication with @10downingstreet and the @ukhomeoffice then I had with the previous government in 7 years,,,,,,,, I had conversation with the prime minister about his previous role of director of public prosecutions and the governments plans for widespread antisocial behaviour, with the hopes of collaboratively working on solutions. Coming from my perspective as a knife crime campaigner I just can’t fault the moves they are making to fight knife crime, this new coalition is making moves, I can’t wait to show you what’s next, LOOK OUT FOR THE NEXT POST, ITS GO TIME PEOPLES 🫡

So meet Eric, he is a young volunteer at the @nycc_london youth center, One day Eric comes up to me and said “FAZ your like Batman “😅 I replied well “Eric you should be robin for the day” so me and the team took him out on a patrol in Edmonton. Not every mentoring session with a young child should have to be to correct a negative problem. Let’s start normalising positive mentoring.
