Your dream body and lifestyle probably weighs more than you think! if somebody said to me 6 years ago when I first started my fitness journey that I’d need to gain over 15kg’s to become my best self I’d have laughed in their face. However it is the best thing I’ve ever done and it has completely changed my life! By choosing to eat more my physique has transformed. I’ve grown muscle everywhere (minus my calf’s but we won’t talk about that🥲), my proportions have changed and I feel so much more confident in my body. Although the physical changes are usually what people focus on the most, for me, the most amazing thing is how eating more has changed my lifestyle and my overall wellbeing. I no longer feel tired and have more energy to do the things I love. I am much much stronger and being able to go to the gym and progress each week fills me with so much happiness and actually gives me a sense of purpose. I NEVER restrict my food so I will choose whatever I want, when I want and this also makes me so happy because I am a huge foodie and I know that all of this food is actually fuel so will help with my training sessions and my progress! I’ve also learnt to accept my body. Its flaws, its imperfections and my own silly insecurities. Our bodies are so more than just what they look like. They allow us to move, grow, get stronger and make memories! I don’t want anyone to ever feel scared or worried about eating more because I’ve been there and I know exactly how that feels! I’ve made so many mistakes throughout my journey which is why I feel so passionate about coaching as I can help you to avoid all of the bad decisions I made! MY STORY🫶 It can be so easy to forget sometimes that we all started from the bottom. We all started as individuals who had no idea what to do but with the goal of becoming better. Being proud of yourself and your achievements should be something which is boasted more! I have put in thousands and thousands of hours of hard work over the past 5-6 years and I have transformed as a person both physically and mentally. It all started with wanting to be my smallest which included restricted eating and endless cardio (the most unhappy and unhealthy version of me) To then starting the gym but being brainwashed by “booty band” and HIIT ab workouts and 0 knowledge on protein. To then finally getting in the swing of training with intent and lifting heavy but still not prioritising rest, recover and nutrition. To now, where I am properly fuelling myself, I am focusing on high protein meals, I am training until failure, I am prioritising rest and recovery, I am learning to love my body and embrace its imperfections, I am the most confident I have ever been and I am so proud of myself! We all start from the bottom but that’s what makes everyone’s journeys even more amazing! Weekly dumppp🌻💪🏼☕️ This is the first week since being home where I actually felt like I’ve gotten back into a routine and it’s feeling goood • finally established all of my working weights so now to start progressively overloading them💪🏼 • went for a run and actually really enjoyed it🏃♀️ • started using @hellofreshuk for some unreal meals🤤 • played badminton for a different form of cardio 🏸 Wearing @gymshark in all pics (lol) EMILYFIT10 to save🥰 Hope you have all had a beaut week! xxx
