Great job by all of the DJs that came out to the @hempsteadpd_pal DJ Battle Auditions yesterday hosted by Det Harris @man_of_steel50 We had kids from both NYC and Hempstead that came out. Although it was mostly High School students, we had kid DJs as young as 7 years old trying out. As promised, we are going to try and set up some dates for you to get some practice sessions in before the battle (both in Hempstead and here in NYC). You will be hearing from either myself, Det Harris or Todd @tmpinc as soon as the dates and locations are finalized. The date for the Battle is Saturday February 15th at Hempstead HS. Todd Taylor @tmpinc and Hempstead PD Det Russell Harris (DJ Bussa Russ) @man_of_steel50 along with the Hempstead PAL to bring their first Long Island Cops & Kids DJ Battle. Salute to everyone who was accepted into the battle including teen DJ Byrd from our NYC Cops & Kids Battle, Det Jason Simmons (DJ JSmoove) and our 2024 Champion DJ EeCruize (who will be showcasing with some of the special guest celebrity DJs). The event will take place at Hempstead HS on Saturday February 15, 2025 at 1PM. Make sure you come out to support the young DJs and our Long Island fam.
