Find You was the last tune I made for the OTTAGON show. I felt the set needed 1 more vocal tune. I didn’t have time to make a song with a vocalist so I grabbed this from a sample pack but I reworked it heavily. The original vocal is a female voice, I turned it into a male vocal and also changed its melody using Cubase Vary Audio. Lots of processing. In 2022 I made a decision to diversify my sound. My album Horizons was the catalyst for this. Now I feel I create music that covers a broad part of the spectrum of Electronic Dance Music. I get a lot of messages from people (I do read them!) saying bring back Nu-Nrg or we preferred your Evolver style but the truth is constantly making the same kind of music kills my creativity. This is why I need to move around and constantly experiment with new sounds. The music I make now comes from the music I listen to and the artists that really inspire me. Musically, I just try to live in the moment. My sound is constantly changing so it makes me very happy and drives me on so much more knowing that my current music is being supported across genres by multiple artists and being listened to now by more people now than ever in my whole career. This support means so much and I really hope you like the music that is to come in 2025. The OTTAGON music vault is about to be opened.

Would you dance with me? I keep playing around with the new @wearenovation Launchkey 61 MK4 and i’ve got a nice groove going on. I’m using the built in arpeggio for the arp sound, adding a swing from 0% to 42% for a nice groove. I also use the Launchkey’s new pad to trigger some samples. It’s way more responsive than the previous version and there’s a lot more control over the velocity.
