A very handsome island from our Heirloom Collection and a classic Aga sitting beside a module and a standalone cooker, all in black and akin to a very large country house range cooker. The overmantel was found by the customers in the outhouses and renovated to appear as a chimney breast that had been there since the beginning. We love when a kitchen has defined areas, a place to cook, a place to prep, somewhere dedicated to refrigeration and in this case, a little 'wet bar' kept especially for drinks - sounds pretty luxurious to us. The Pink and Blue Room in Bath has a small and compact cooker run but there is still lots of room for a proper freestanding range, some roomy Shaker drawers and a very nicely proportioned glazed wall cupboard. We couldn’t think of a more perfect room for our Sebastian Cox cupboards. Rustic textures and natural materials, nothing too fussy but just the right amount of out of the ordinary. It was the old milking parlour at this rural farmhouse and still had the original exposed beams and brick floors.
