Serenity. Got inspired by a photo from @anaswara.Rajan sitting peacefully reading a book at @stay.dium . Started doing this sketch on a @lilorosh pocketbook but I felt it had all the potential to go into a digital illustration and took it to the iPad. This ended up in a much detailed image than I planned for. No regrets. 🙂 . Ps: I’ve started daily sketching again ( After a long gap). Sticking to a more children’s illustration style this time. Calicut Cousins. Referenced from one of the good photos remained from childhood. We grew up and played together for 12 years at our ancestral home in Calicut . Life was good. Previous generation of our family had an artist, an actor, two business men and a bunch of teachers so we kinda knew we could be anything that we are passionate about and parents understood that. This really helped extra playing hours and skipping homeworks etc. No pressure to get high ranks and all progress cards were signed just the way they came in 😂 Imagine how a crazy bunch of kids can use this. And we did ! Life was a blast. When I was in 6th std, we moved from Calicut since my parents got their jobs transferred to another town. All cousins got busy with their own stuff and slowly moved far away from hometown. But the bond never died. And Covid brought everyone back home to Calicut once again and we did have a blast last couple of years. Most of my cousins had babies during Covid time and now we have more birthdays and celebrations as a reason to get together. The latter half of 2024 was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride! There were moments when giving up felt like the only option, but we dug deep and pushed through. We had the pleasure of spending a delightful evening at the brand-new and beautifully designed @eunoians studio, engaging in an inspiring conversation with the brilliant National Award-winning artist, @joshybenedictart, as part of their fantastic new initiative, “Beautiful Thinkers.” The event began with a screening of his award-winning short film, A Coconut Tree, setting the tone for a thoughtful and creative exchange. Thank you, @azeem_kattali and team @eunoians for inviting us—it was such a joy meeting everyone! We’re looking forward to the next session. ♥️

Thank you, Delhi, for a memorable @comicconindia experience! After battling a bad chest infection for two weeks and seeing the 370+ AQI reports, we seriously considered skipping the Delhi Comic Con. But as it was our first-ever event in the city, we finally decided to take the leap. And what a surprise awaited us—Delhi greeted us with clear skies and an AQI of just 89! It felt like a small miracle. I even stopped coughing the moment we landed. Rosh was joking that the pollution agreed with me 😂 A big thank you to everyone who visited our stall, picked up our products, and shared kind words. It was heartwarming to finally meet many of our long-time clients and well wishers in person. Some of you travelled quite a long way to come to meet us, and it meant the world to us! 🥹♥️ A huge shoutout to the wonderful wonderful @laila.and.i , who travelled all the way from Faridabad to help us at the stall. Your incredible generosity, love and support meant the world to us! 🥹💗 And to all the new faces—welcome to the @lilorosh family!🤗💗 Unfortunately, worried about the pollution, we had booked our return tickets for the very next day. We can’t wait to come back and experience Delhi properly! Colored this Thundercats one shot titled Thundercats Apex, as a stand alone journey into the secrets of Apex, a mysterious character introduced by @declanshalvey . The book is written by @ed_brisson and the art ( which I love !! ) is by the amazingly talented @raphalobosco . @jeffeckleberry handles the lettering and @natecosboom wears the hat of the editor on this @dynamitecomics issue. There are many wonderful pages I would love to show off but they reveal too much 😂😂 So here are a few crops from the Preview pages and I hope they are good enough to get you hooked. And yes, I am working on a bunch of projects that has characters that I grew up with. Powerpuff girls, Thundercats… that’s not it. Just wait for the next one. This would be @lilorosh ‘s first ever event at Delhi. The last time I ( Rosh) came to Delhi con was in 2012 when my team Libera Artisti launched the book Autopilot. It’s funny how I get to see copies of the book being brought to my stall for signing during cons even after 10+ years. Delhi con 2012 was a cannon event for me 🙂 It feels great to go back and hopefully meet up with some friends and followers. We are bringing a lot of @lilorosh products this time. We already have a lot of lovely clients from around the area. Hoping to say Hi to a few in person 🙂 If you are in Delhi this weekend and coming to @comicconindia , don’t miss our little booth ♥️

Thank you, HYDERABAD, for a fabulous 3 days! It was SO LOVELY meeting all of you - both familiar and new faces! ♥️ This being the second @comicconindia in Hyderabad the same year, it was so wonderful to hear from so many of you about how you have been loving your Lilorosh products that you had picked up at the previous Con! And thank you for picking up more products for your yourselves and your friends. It meant the world to us! 🫂♥️ A big thank you to @artofmegha for helping us manage the stall, and for taking us around the city! 🫂♥️ We LOVED the biriyani from @talesoftelugu_tot and the delicious dishes from @7sistershyd ! @artofroshan and I got to explore more of Hyderabad this time and I’ve got to say that so much of thought has gone into every road and building here! Everything is built to impress! I continue to be awestruck by this wonderful city! Loved visiting @manamchocolate and @offtheshelf.india 💗 Thank you, HYDERABAD! Can’t wait to do a proper holiday here! ♥️ And as always, it was so much fun catching up with fellow comic creators, colleagues and collaborators! I feel jinxed because so many of you had recommended Niloufer and it was top on my list on both the visits - still couldn’t make it! 🙈
