Week 49 Grease and oil will clog the range hood filter making it a fire hazard. They should be cleaned once a month. Many hood filters are dishwasher safe, be sure to check your manual to check. Disposals use impellers that grind the food so it’s important not to place certain items and foods in your disposal to prevent clogs and malfunctions. Some things include: bones, egg shells, grease, oil, seeds, onions, rice.
