We’re near the finish line! Weather conditions have returned to normal, and we will ensure any remaining outages are all addressed today.   We’d like to thank our crews and overall staff once again for their effort and logistical support throughout this storm. As always, our focus remains on the safety of the public and our teams.

As of 7pm this evening, we've restored power for 16,200 customers affected by the rain and wind storm that is hitting the region. We have extra crews and staffing overnight as the storm makes its way out of the state. Our teams will continue working to ensure all customers’ power is restored as safely and quickly as possible!

Our team is participating in the @JARhodeIsland Career Exploration Fair this week. JA manages JA Inspire, a coalition of educators and industry leaders. Through JA Inspire, we have the opportunity to share insights about the work we do at Rhode Island Energy and introduce students to the utility industry.
