Yesterday I celebrated my daughter's 2nd Birthday. I can't believe she came this far and so strong. 2 years ago. When she was just a little Itty bitty kitten she was nothing but skin and bones(her in the first picture) and very sick due to parasites and fleas. But I knew in my heart of hearts that she belonged to me and that I would wait as long as I needed too to finally take her home with me. Finally adopted her at 4mos old. And named her Mulan. Cuz she's a fighter. And she fought for her life and came back stronger than ever. And now 2 years later. Technically I had her shy under 2 years. I missed out 5mos of her life and her 1st Birthday. But we celebrated together this year. And moving forward I'll never miss another birthday again. Mulan: Meowmy loves SO MUCH that it hurts. You're my baby my everything I dream of in a girlie like you. You certainly March the beat to your own drum. And don't take shit from nobody. You'll love on me when you want to love on me. But never stop greeting me when I get home. And to see you flourish and then you become a big sister not to long ago. Yes. You didn't like the idea of me giving you a sibling but you warmed up to your baby brother Flynn after a few days. And you guys couldn't be any more inseparable. Thank you for letting me be your mommy. I'll always be here for you every step of the way. You're my world. And I'm NEVER letting you go ever again! You were always meant to be mine. I hope you had a really great birthday even though you won't ever remember it. Just some new toys and treats that's all. But I'll always remember. And every birthday that follows. To my mom whom I have a very complex relationship with. We don't always see eye to eye. Scratch that. We never seen eye to eye. But you have accepted me for who I am as a person. Especially when it came to my sexuality. You may not like it or support it. But you've shown me acceptance, tolerance and just wanting me to be happy with my life no matter who I choose to love. And you over a year ago when my cats and I lost our apartment. You accepted us brought us in and let us live with you until we get back on our feet. We can't thank you enough for that. I wouldn't know what to do if I ended up on the streets and I end up losing my two babies. But you made it to where we can still be together and that's coming back home to you. And we're forever grateful for that. So again. Thank you mom for being there for us this past year. And thank you for buying food and food bowls for my cats when we first moved in. After a little over 8hrs in the salon chair. This is the end result to what my hair looks like. And for a Level 1 hairstylist. They did a phenomenal job. But their mentor help dried thinned out my hair curled it. This month hits close to home. When I was 14yo I was sexually assaulted by a Asian man who was 37yo who worked in the movie theatre. I didn't knew his age at the time and when I was 17yo I was over at a friend's house and I was sexually assaulted/raped by a Mexican guy. I didn't bring the guy to justice like I wanted to. He was set free. And it's all thanks to my parents who made me run away from the problem and not deal with it head on.
