First, no one knows whats going to happen in a couple weeks, or next month… or the next spring or summer. Theres fear about the stipend, theres fear about job security with the next admin.We know that its not real until the resource order is in our hand, or we see it in writing… and even then the rug can get pulled from under us. What I’m saying is business as usual, rest this off season, take an assignment, mail your representatives about our money. Once again beware “hotshot soups” that have hot of the press news on “done deals”.They make money off of mouse clicks, not the truth. We need every one to make this stand, all hands on decks. Feds getting paid more probably means contractors will see a boost too, this effects everyone. Heres the thing, for some of us enough is enough and the camels back got broken months or years ago, theres no staying now. My only request is you dont take all that good experience and ability to teach and train with you. Pop in for one keep your quals currents, maybe you’ll comeback someday. Maybe you just got some good slides and stories to tell over a beer in the local bar… whatever it is its fucking valuable.

Fuck, This Sucks. The Dread Of Knowing That You Have To Head To Your Home Unit And Stare At a Wall And Listen To Some Useless Fucking Supervisor Tell You How To Do You Job When He Doesnt Know His. The Cracks Are Showing, Why Are You Driving To Work When You Have To Dig Your Car Out Every Morning And You Arent Burning Piles… I cant do more aglearn… your fmo empties the barn during the summer season but is hesitant do it during the winter… make it make sense… Your afmo comes to visit… first time yoy’ve seen him in months and he starts yapping about his rich wife and how he’s going to Europe…. between the building froth in the corner of his mouth and his voice that sounds like richrd simmons, you start to wonder if he will ever be caught for time fraud… you think back to your rookie seasons when someone told you falsifying your time was the fastest way to be fired. You look up at the clock and it says 10am… time to go shovel the lot for PT today… your captain questions you about PTing… because he doesnt do it… you just about explode when you think about how he fakes his pack test every year… I hope Elon fires me because lord knows i’ll never quit…
