Things are getting pretty tricky out there as we navigate politicians policing our bodies and broken healthcare systems. What are we supposed to do with this onslaught of news? How are we supposed to feel when providers and patients are getting arrested for trying to take care?

Does your ADHD seem to really ramp up at phases in your cycle? Youâre not crazy and that actually makes perfect sense. The hormones that change with your cycle are also interconnected to the rest of your body, your mind, and your ADHD. As estrogen and progesterone fluctuate, they directly impact your memory, focus, emotions, stress levels, and how you communicate. Cycle tracking how your ADHD changes is crucial to making sure you feel like youâre getting the best support. Whether itâs strategizing when you take medication, modifying your schedule, adding in extra support, or simply feeling grounded and not beating yourself up for feeling different on different days - cycle tracking can be the answer to understanding your hormones and really knowing yourself. #cycletracking #adhd #periods #hormones
ok this is a weirdly chaotic, earnest, and overly specific post đ« apologies! but PMDD and PME (premenstrual exacerbation of mental health or physical conditions you may already be dealing with like anxiety or asthma) are just not given enough air thereâs not enough research to fully explain what happens but we do know this is not a case of âunbalanced hormonesâ itâs a sensitivity to hormonal shifts that some people have. I feel like people with PMDD/PME are targeted more by predatory wellness and at the same time donât have a lot of support in more mainstream spaces. tracking can really help! it can guide your treatment in such an amazing way. I go through a tracking example here đ also, to get an official diagnosis usually a few cycles of tracking is recommended. ok! we did a thing with IAPMD recently and are very much here for this convo. fertility meds and PMDD? perimenopause and PMDD? DMs open if there is anything we can help with.
đȘ We shared our Saturn Return stories with @thecut, and honestly? A mess! But if we hadnât walked through that fire, The Cycle Book wouldnât exist. It was wild to go back in time and realize that we were both confronting the roles we were handed, the stories we didnât write, the systems that want us confused and self-doubting. the saturn portal đč âš we took some risks âš found clarity âš locked into purpose Cycle tracking is one way we walk through it all awake. ok tell us yours!đđȘ
Tracking with loooong cycles, not currently experiencing a bleeding phase, PCOS - or even normalish cycle lengths, but just suspecting PCOS Often times people think they canât track if theyâre not having a bleeding phase, but you absolutely can! Thereâs WAY more to track than bleeding to tell us what your hormones are up to. We just have to learn your individual bodyâs language and how it communicates.
we joined an incredible conference alongside researchers, practitioners, and advocates, all working to transform womenâs health. pleasure is essential care. neuroscientist and sex therapist dr. nan wise shared her groundbreaking work mapping the cl*tor*s, v*g*na, and c*rv*x onto the brainâs sensory cortex - watch the brain light up during *rg*sm.
