This custom ring that I recently made for a client showcases a phenomenal aquamarine that I cut from O'Brien's Creek in Queensland, flanked by 2 diamond pears all set in white gold. The aquamarine rough was hand fossicked in the 1990's and is a beautiful example of a fine blue Australian aqua. There aren't many of these out there!

A phenomenal tourmaline from the Forrestania mine in Western Australia. This piece was collected in the late 1980’s by a local fossicker. An amazing size for the location and an amazing colour for Western Australia. Not many of these out there! This stone shifts to have more of a purple hue depending on the light. A stunning Queensland parti sapphire cut into a freeform shape to best suit the rough. It has a beautiful blend of teal, olive and an occasional flash of yellow. I opted for a slightly smaller stone, placing the yellow in the pavilion, producing a lovely and bright stone. 2.955ct 12.73x7.51x4.18mm This stone is available!

A phenomenal Pharaoh's eye sapphire from the Queensland gemfields that I cut recently into a hexagon that I designed. The rough had a few issues to work around so a few design revisions later we endedup withthis super sparkly hexagon. It was originally going to be a radiant but had to bring 2 of the corners in a bit more to remove some veils that didn't show up until prepolish. The rough was also tilted to get the yellow core, seen in the side of the rough, to run through the middle of the finished stone creating the Pharaoh's eye. 1.705ct 9.17x5.24x3.89mm This stone is available!
