Building a bootstrapped SaaS is hard. But it's less complicated than you think. You only need to focus on 3 things: → Build things → Sell things → Create systems & processes that allow you to build and sell things faster. That's literally it. It's simple. But it's not easy. The good news? AI is here to assist you in all 3 categories. Build: ✨ Lovable ✨ Cursor ✨ Cline Marketing (content): ✨ FeedHive ✨ Kling AI ✨ AdCreative Ops/Automation: ✨ n8n ✨ NocoDB ✨ Aidbase Building a profitable SaaS is not about funding and hyperscaling anymore. It's about doing more with less. Mastering these AI tools will separate winners from losers in 2025. ℹ️ Did you know? You can get instant, lifetime access to FeedHive & Aidbase (+ 2 other tools) for a single one-time purchase. Go to founderstack (dot) pro to learn more.

People still think "real" startups are: ❌ Hustle-powered. ❌ VC-backed. ❌ Huge teams. Startups in 2025 actually are: ✅ AI-powered. ✅ Lean & small teams. ✅ Automated revenue systems. Here's my roadmap: 1️⃣ Content creation. This part can be *entirely* handled by AI. Tools: → GPT-4o fine-tuned models. → n8n automation/AI agents. → FeedHive for scheduling/publishing. 2️⃣ Blog posts. This can also be *entirely* handled by AI. Tools: → Perplexity for research. → GPT-o3 for writing. → Aidbase for including internal knowledge. → n8n to orchestrate the workflow. → Strapi to update & publish. 3️⃣ Product development. This can also be *partially* handled by AI. Tools: → Lovable for prototyping. → Cline for AI-assisted coding. 4️⃣ Collaboration This is the human part. ⚠️ AI can *assist* here but should not handle this part. Tools: → GitHub for code management. → Plane for project management. → Discord for conversations. → Miro for flows & charts. 5️⃣ Maintain You need to keep your knowledge bases updated, your workflows running, and tweak and tune when the AI/automation runs errors (which will happen, it's not flawless). This is not a future projection. This IS HAPPENING right now - my own 4-person startup team is one example.

The past few years of AI have been incredible - but we're only getting started. We have many great AI tools. We're now starting with AI Agents. I believe 2025 will be the year where it is entirely realistic that we can: → Reduce cost of ops with +80%. → Reduce employees with +50%. → Run a +$1M ARR business solo. Check this out 👇 Here, I have collected +50 AI tools that you can use to replace entire departments.

"AI Wrapper" somehow became a bit of an insult. The truth is... Many AI Wrappers are killing it! And right now - creating wrappers and turning them into small, Agent-Compatible tools is a HUGE opportunity. Here are 8 AI Agent SaaS ideas you could create and charge for.

Sam Altman recently said that we'll see the first billion-dollar solo business. I'm not sure if that's true. But you also don't have to. You can build a 7-figure business solo. Which is more than enough for most. Here's the architecture. 👤 Operator That's you. It takes practice to operate a business by yourself. But don't worry - we have excellent tools available. 💻 Product Here's the product-line I use for building my SaaS: → I always start with Lovable → I carry on with Cline & Cursor → I use Aidbase to handle support When bugs are reported or features requested - I rinse & repeat. 📱 Content This is the content-line I use for all marketing: → Fine-tuned GPT-o3 model → Manage content with FeedHive → Post on LinkedIn → Publish videos on YouTube ⚙️ Ops & Automation This is my ops-line (the most important one): → I use Lindy AI for automation → I use fine-tuned GPT-4o for decisions → I use Notion & NocoDB for managing → I use n8n for advanced automation → I use Fiverr to find human talent It all starts with you - the operator. And it ends with creating value for your users. In between, it's all about using the right tools.

I replaced +6 expensive cloud-based SaaS tools with self-hostable alternatives. Here are some of my favorite picks: 1️⃣ Plane: Great, minimalistic tool for project management. 2️⃣ Docmost: Excellent tool for keeping internal wikis. 3️⃣ n8n: Automation and AI Agents. We entirely replaced Zapier and Make with this tool. 4️⃣ Strapi: Great editorial tool for blog posts and newsletters. 5️⃣ Grafana: We replaced Amplitude and Posthog with Grafana. 6️⃣ NocoDB: Best Airtable alternative I've come across. ✅ All free. ✅ All self-hosted. We're saving +$10,000/year this way. And the tools are on the same level of quality as their expensive, cloud-based counterparts. Try them out!

Every business should have a front-facing AI Agent. An AI representative - always available to answer questions from your clients, users, and audience. It might seem cutting edge today. But very soon, it's expected. Here's how you can create one: 🔹 Create an Aidbase account. 🔹 Upload your knowledge. 🔹 Train a custom AI model. 🔹 Configure an AI chatbot. 🔹 Build the UI (using assistant-ui). 🔹 Deploy on your website. 🔹 Correct and refine. Let me show you a detailed step-by-step below 👇 Aidbase is the #1 tool that provides both a UI-based RAG as well as tooling for ongoing corrections and re-training of your models.

✨ My 2025 AI Agent team. My team over the years: → 2023: 11 people. → 2024: 9 people. → 2025: 4 people. We now have AI Agents + Automation in place to handle 4 crucial areas of my SaaS business: → Product Cursor, Cline, and AI-assisted CI/CD. It's helping us improve & maintain my SaaS portfolio with minimal human supervision. → Content FeedHive, LinkDrip, Flux Pro, and fine-tuned AI models. We're using ComfyUI and Replicate to run the models, and our fine-tuned models include custom OpenAI models and Flux LoRA models. → Support Aidbase, NocoDB, and AWS SES. This setup allows us to use AI for most common support inquires, send emails and track customer relations. → Blogs (This one is new!) n8n, SerpAPI, Strapi and GPT-4o Search. We're experimenting with letting this AI agent handle our blogs FULLY autonomously (no human supervision at all). We're still 4 people left: - 1 software developer. - 1 UI/UX engineer. - 1 tech support agent. - 1 CEO (myself). At this point, I don't plan on reducing our team further. We are now a small, super lean and efficient, AI-powered startup team on track to do +$2M ARR in 2025. I'm pumped that this is finally a reality.

Here's the best way to build your AI Team in 2025. AI Agents: → Postman AI Agent Builder → Aidbase UI-based RAG → n8n AI Agent workflows Product development: → Cursor for coding → Relume for websites → Lovable for prototyping Knowledge base + RAG: Aidbase is a low-code solution for managing knowledge bases and making them available for your AI Agents to consume. And let's not forget that many "traditional" SaaS tools for handling workflows, emails, and support are bringing AI to the table, too 👇 This is how a standard startup team will look soon. Don't fall behind - start building your AI team already now.

The biggest things holding upcoming SaaS founders down. → Want their product to go viral → Want 7-figures in a few months → Want Tech Crunch headlines → Want hockey-stick growth → Want to look successful and rich → Want it now, fast, and easy How about? → Spending year 1 getting good → Starting year 2 replacing your 9-5 → Spending year 3 working smarter → Spending the rest of your life being independent, financially free, healthy, and secure. Why is that not motivation enough?

The solopreneur framework (2025 edition). → Process For any new task, ask yourself: - Can I automate it? - If not, can I delegate it? - If not, can I make it easier for myself by streamlining it? (Create wiki, checklists, internal docs, etc). And most importantly, ask yourself: If a human is currently doing this task (including yourself) - do they have to? Or could AI do it? → Rotation I've talked about my 4-week rotation schedule a lot. Split your work into 4 types of weeks: - Build week - Marketing week - Ops week - Slack week The most important (and most underrated) week here is "Ops week". In 2025, you need to dedicate a full week to improving internal operations and making your company more efficient. Take a look below 👇 I've shared some of my favorite frameworks and tools for a solopreneur (or a small team).
