Open-concept living is back in demand, folks! (Are we sure about this? 😂) After the COVID shutdown had everyone craving more walls, we’re now leaning back into shared spaces... but with a twist. To keep things balanced, it’s all about creating functional vignettes within the open plan. Think: a cozy corner for Netflix marathons, a work spot with outlets for charging your devices, and a bit of separation so everyone gets their own downtime. This design was tailored for a family of three, making sure they can flow through the space together or retreat for solo moments as needed. Ugh, I wish the window treatments were in already… but we’re soaking up all that natural light and loving this bright, happy space anyway! This @lacanche.usa range in the color Vert Silice was the first piece we picked for this home... It set the tone for everything else! We were obsessed with the soft, dreamy color, and we used that little sample chip to guide all the design decisions, from the tiles to the paint and all the little details in between. Loving how this bar came together! The refrigerator drawers with custom white oak panels give it an instant cozy look and are SO much better than stainless steel. We paired it with brass fixtures that’ll patina beautifully over time for that old-world vibe we’re all about lately. Custom stained white oak cabinetry and zellige tile backsplash give this kitchen the perfect amount of old-world charm. What’s really cool here is the island... it doesn’t have seating, and that’s totally on purpose. Since it’s positioned between the breakfast nook and dining room, we intentionally left seating off to keep the flow open. The island was designed to look like a beautiful piece of furniture with plenty of storage for all your entertaining needs.
