It’s very difficult to figure out how to put my thoughts and feeling into words that make sense to others. I connect thoughts, memories, and feeling together in ways that only make sense to me and I end up referencing the connection that my brain is making. But no one else understands the reference😂 #actuallyautistic

I am grateful for the gifts but it’s not about the gifts. Its frustrating when there is a communication barrier between you and the closest people in your life. It’s something that regularly brings me feelings of sadness and frustration but I am especially reminded of it during Christmas.

Fall photo dump🍁🧶 I have really been embracing the crafts recently. Most of my camera roll is progress photos of things I’ve been knitting and pictures of my drawings/ coloring books. While the first two photos are me at social gatherings, I wanted to include pictures that more actually sum up what my fall was like.

A more in depth convo about the autistic struggle with transitions. As always this is just my experience and other autistics may have different feelings/ experiences but I thought I would share🥰 #actuallyautistic

I do infact struggle with transitions😅 i struggle to get my brain to switch between tasks, i need time to decompress while switching tasks, and i have to hype myself up to do tasks that are sensory unfriendly. My transition struggles might not be noticable to the outside world bc i stress about it/decompress in private most of the time. My struggle with transitions is a big contributer to my lack of productivity. It takes me a long time to swich between tasks making it so i do less things in a day comperativly to someone who doesnt struggle with this. #actuallyautistic

This is a break down of what dismantling the department of education will specifically do to autistic/disabled children. It is a very long video so I apologize for that but I wanted to give full picture. As you can probably tell I am reading off of a script because this is really important and I wanted to make sure I was telling this information correctly and not going off of memory. I urge parents of autistic children to do research. Don’t take my word for it. Look into this for yourself, contact your school district or local representatives, and be prepared for however this may go in your state. #actuallyautistic

Some times being a creator on social media gets a little too overwhelming. I really really needed a break.
