This is a Valentine’s folder I included in the mail I made for Lucy (@lucys.mailbox) 🩵 I sent it out a while ago, so I hope it has reached her safely by now 🙂‍↕️ I had so much fun putting this together and I think it turned out really cute. The final touch was a red ribbon that my husband helped me tie around the folder to keep it closed. Unfortunately, I seem to have lost the photo of that part so maybe I’ll find it and share it another time 🥲 I’ve received quite a bit of mail over the past few weeks and I’m very behind on posting it all. I’m still figuring out when and how to catch up, or if I should just share everything in my stories instead. Even though I haven’t been posting much lately, I’m still here and still crafting and writing whenever I can 🥰 Life has definitely been busy, but I’m enjoying it for the most part. I might even be getting a haircut in the next week or two so I’m excited about that 😍 One thing I’m a little disappointed about is how little I’ve been reading. Soon to be an outgoing to dear Maria (@sushibeancrafts) 🩵 I have not had much time to work on this letter yet, except for finishing the envelope and typing the letter, which I still need to rewrite. But since I am currently on a short working week, I am hoping to finish it one of these days 🥰 I crafted this while keeping Océane’s (@pepperyletters) April challenge and Gentry’s (@withlovefromgentry) first prompt for May’s challenge, in mind, which was themed around cherry blossoms. Recent outgoing to my penpal Beatriz from Portugal 🥰 Even though I already sent a dark academia-ish theme to Beatriz last time, I couldn’t help myself and ended up making another one for her. Envelope style folder/flipbook I sent to Indah (@rookiejournal_) with my last letter 🥰 This time, I decided to try something new, instead of making both an envelope and a flipbook, I combined the two so the envelope functioned as both! 🥰 I had a bit of a hard time figuring out the pockets and constantly felt like I was running out of space, so it might still need some tweaking. Recently I sent a letter to my dear penpal Sarah (@weavingmythos) from New Zealand! 🥰 It’s been nearly a month now, so I’m really hoping it reaches her soon and isn’t lost yet 😔 Since we’re both Genshin Impact fans, I went with another purple themed letter for her, this time featuring one of the new characters from the Natlan region, Citlali. I’ve adored Citlali’s aesthetic ever since I first saw her, and it seems I have a soft spot for purple themed characters, considering how much I love Keqing 💜 Even though I pulled and got Citlali, I still haven’t quite figured out her kit yet so I’m hoping to spend more time on it eventually. Letter to dear Indah (@rookiejournal_), which I sent out a couple of weeks ago 🥰 I chose a cozy, homey theme for this letter, knowing Indah has been working on her house these past few months 🥰 It felt like the perfect theme to create and send. I’ve never done it before, but I’m so happy with how it turned out, I adore the colors! I can just imagine myself curling up on that bed with a cup of hot cacao and a good book 🙂‍↕️ I finally started work again this Monday and am currently enjoying my two days off. Valentine’s Day mail I recently prepared for Lucy (@lucys.mailbox) 🥰 This was my entry for Océane’s (@pepperyletters) February challenge, though I’m posting it a bit late. I forgot February was a short month and didn’t get the chance to finish the entire mail in time, which is why I’m only sharing it now 🫣 One of the challenge prompts was to create a postcard to go with the mail, with heart shaped windows as a bonus. I used one of my paint swatch postcards (I still have plenty left!), decorated it, and cut out two little hearts with my die-cutting machine. My original idea was to cut out one big heart next to the girl, but I ended up going with this instead. Yet another beautiful incoming, this time from my dear friend Gem (@cozygemstudio) 🥰 Gem and I first bonded over our love of books, but as we got to know each other we discovered we had so much more in common which made me really happy. It’s been a while since I received this, and I still have letters to reply to but I’m excited to write back! Isn’t the whole letter just adorable? 🥹 Thank you so much for this cute letter!! 🥺 My husband and I recently went to IKEA to get some organizers for our new wardrobe. Thankfully our search was a success! The wardrobe is all set up, and we still have plenty of space left, which is amazing. Until now we only had some drawers so having a proper, spacious wardrobe has been such a relief 🙂‍↕️ Unfortunately the same day we went to IKEA, I ended up getting sick. It’s been going around in the family, so I guess it was inevitable. I took a few days off work to rest, and in the meantime, I’m hoping to catch up on letters, reading, and maybe even some journaling.
