Feels like yesterday✨ I’m so grateful to have been to the Grammy’s twice. The last time I attended was 2020. I got my own glam team in place - my good friends at @jovanifashions dressed me and @nicky_b_on_hair did my hair. I can’t remember the makeup artist but he SLAYED! It was the year Alicia Keys hosted and the Staple Center felt somber AF because Kobe Bryant had died the same day. RIP MAMBA and Gianna Bryant. 🤍💜 The next day I hosted a “behind the seams” red carpet recap with a panel of influencers and tastemakers for the @recordingacademy Hi @tytryone @nikitadragun @tessholliday @shaunross Behind the scene were other dope ass creatives with @iamjustinjoseph producing & @krysknight directing✨ @lolasbeautymark and @amiraavainqueur were the glam team. Aw the memories! Sometime I have to remind myself of the spaces and places I’ve been and this life I get to live in answered prayers and dreams realized. God, you are good! Whew. 🙌🏾 As for the present, I’m Reflecting on this year’s Grammys (I loved all the Black Girl Magic moments & Hov’s honesty ) + a few #unpopularopinions in my stories. I LOVED BEYONCÉ’s look.
