Two weeks untill Christmas eve.... How did that happen 😳 .. This time of year can be overwhelming, and I think we put lots of pressure on ourselves , especially with social media, to make sure we have the best tree, the biggest Turkey, the most presents, the best dinner set etc etc, that we lose sight of what really matters! I wish I could go back to the Christmas's where we had odd baubles on the tree and tacky foil decorations hanging from the ceiling. Going round to my grandparents' house on Christmas Eve and having a snowball and some jellied fruits. These were the best times. So let's take a step back and remember these times and enjoy our time with our loved ones, making memories, laughing, playing games, and eating all the quality street we can 🤣🤣🥹. Who cares if you have a small tree, odd chairs around the dinner table, a chicken instead of a turkey,.... life's too short. Early dark mornings . I love to chill with a coffee when it's dark , especially with the Christmas lights on. It all just feels magical and exciting, don't you think? .... It always feels so cosy at Christmas. Anyway, the tables done, well it is until I start faffing again,🤦‍♀️🤣 and my favourite addition is the new seat pad for our bench from @sophie_marie_home.
