EASY 3 STEP EYES Sometimes the thought of a Smokey Eye is more overwhelming than the reality of creating one…anyone else think that? So next time you’re overthinking your glam remember this-you only need 3 products and 3 steps to create a gorgeous Smokey Eye. Step 1: a smudgable eye pencil to act as a base. Khols and Kajals work best for this. Here I used the @hildunbeauty pencil in Blaze. Just apply messily to the lower lid and lower lash line then blend with either a brush or your finger 2. An eyeshadow. Just a single shadow is sufficient sometimes for a Smokey eye-it’s the tone and the blend that make it ‘smokey’. The act of pressing a shadow into the pencil first helps to lock the shadow in place and make the colour pay off that little bit more intense. Here I used the shade IRL from my Smoke It Out palette from @lhcosmetics 3. Mascara…and lots of it! The darker the Smokey eye the more mascara id suggest to create balance and impact. I love @lorealparis Air Volume mascara for thick, bold lashes. And there you have it. Simple but effective Smokey eyes in just a few minutes 🖤 #hannahmartinmakeup #smokeyeye #easy #makeup

Seriously Smokey eyes in three easy steps 🖤 Don’t let the fear of achieving really dark Smokey eyes put you off trying. It really can be very quick and easy! I taught my mate @lorraine.woodside11 this technique last week and she’s already nailing it! Step 1: scribble kajal liner all over the lower lid and blend. I used the @hildunbeauty kajal in Chocolate but you can use any colour, black of course would make for the most intense eye. I like brown as it means the crease is that bit warmer. I used my @ciatelondon Flat Eye Base brush-it’s perfect for blending out kajals and cream shadows. For the lower lashes you’ll see I dot the kajal right into the lower lashes then blend together for a smudgy finish. Step 2: with the same @ciatelondon Flat Eye Base brush I push the BFF shadow from my Smoke It Out Palette with @lhcosmetics into the lower lid-pushing being the key here. First push the shadow into the brush head then press the brush all over the lower lid to really pack on the pigment then once you have most of the pigment in place you can use the windscreen wiper method to blend through the crease. I then used my @ciatelondon Eye Contour brush to blend out through the crease. Step 3: mascara! And LOADS of it! You could of course add more to this look…glitter…lashes…whatever you like but this is a simple, matte black Smokey eye that wins every time! The one where I was getting ready to see @raye with @skinrocks I tried some new bits and bobs today but relied on my tried and tested eye look that NEVER FAILS!! @armanibeauty Eye Tint in Cashew 22, @hildunbeauty Silk To Set Kajal in Pecan and Soul Shimmer Shadow in Sugared Almond. It’s a winner every time!! I used the new @narsissist Natural Matte Longwear Foundation in Patagonia-ooooh it’s really beautiful, and the @milkmakeup Hydro Grip Concealer in 4.5-beautifully soft and hydrating. I also used the @clarinsuk Joli Blush shad 01 Cheeky Baby-such a cute soft pink, and their Supra Lift and Curl Mascara-it’s giving lashes!!! I swatches three lipsticks from @yslbeauty that I bought in the quest to find my friend her perfect lippie-I used the N1 Beige Trench-so my kinda colour and I think the N15 Nude Rendez-Vous might be good for Soph-the N5 is lovely but too pink…we’ll get there…!! Ad I did a little @clarinsuk order from @debenhams so I could FINALLY try the new Clarins Double Serum Foundation and as expected-it’s absolutely lovely an exactly what I had imagined a double serum foundation would be like! It has the same signature scent as the double serum which felts wonderfully familiar and comforting but the combination of skincare ingredients and pigment makes for a beautifully hydrating, glowing foundation but actually the level of glow is in your hands as jus like the original serum, you can control how much serum is deposited with each pump by twisting the dial on the lid! The more serum, the more glow. The less serum, the more coverage. And you can see-the pigments really do deliver coverage-my skin naturally has quite high colour which this foundation corrects brilliantly whilst still looking fresh and hydrated! Aaah I’m so impressed-it was worth the wait!! The foundation contains 9 potent plant extracts and 5 pure active molecules which together enhance the skins natural radiance both immediately upon application and over time. And what about the Gua Sha brush! Ooooh this is fun! It hugs the contours of your face and helps create a sculpted, lifted effect-I really enjoyed using it actually! So yes! Get ready with me for the BFTA watch party with @armanibeauty I started by removing my makeup from the day using the @skinrocks The Gel Cleanser (twice!) then I spent a good 15 minutes wearing my @seoulista_beauty Super Hydration Instant Facial-soooo good before an event!! Then I jumped in the shower before blow drying my hair and tackling it with my @babyliss Big Curl followed by my @mdlondon Curl. I then did my makeup live using a full face of Armani bar a few bits and pieces like my @hildunbeauty lip Pencil in Hayley and my @westmanatelier Peau De Rose highlighter. It was just as I finished my makeup and was about to try on the 5 dress options I had that I realised the event started at 6.30 and not 7 so I had to forget the mass try-on and go with outfit option number one and leg it! I narrowly avoided getting lost in the corridors of the Savoy, stomping my way around in my trusty Uggs before finding the party, losing the coat and boots, slipping into a heel and having a blast with @gemmapeacemakeup @bartpacult and the crew!!
