Most pregnancy related deaths are preventable. Be aware of the symptoms and if you or someone you know experiences any of these, talk to your doctor or get to the ER, it’s better to be safe. Here’s the list of symptoms according to the CDC: •Headache that won’t go away or gets worse over time. •Dizziness or fainting. •Changes in vision. •Fever of 100.4 F or higher. •Extreme swelling of hands or face. It could hurt to bend fingers or you might lose feeling in your lips from swelling. •Thoughts of harming yourself or your baby. •Trouble breathing. •Chest pain or fast beating heart. •Severe nausea and throwing up. •Severe belly pain that doesn’t go away. •Baby’s movement stopping or slowing during pregnancy. •Severe swelling, redness or pain or your leg or arm. Sung or spoken, the message is the same, gift card scams cost Americans nearly $127 million dollars last year according to the FTC and that number is probably higher since a lot of people don’t report being scammed. My friends at @wefightcybercrime shared a few red flags to look out for in store: 🚩 Loose or damaged packaging. 🚩 Scratches on the card (pay close attention to the area with the pin or barcode) 🚩 Exposed PIN or activation code 🚩 Misaligned print or logos. 🚩 The card seems too thick If you come across this, hand the giftcard to the store representative so they can address it. A few more details: The group is called Salt Typhoon. It’s believed they got into our systems about 2 years ago but the investigation started Spring/Summer (I had posted about it in stories but it’s still ongoing). They don’t know how big the breach is and can’t say the hackers have been expelled yet. FCC is proposing that communications providers be required to submit an annual certification regarding their plans to protect against cyberattacks.
