Skorge - GBPAUD SHORT 25th January. Took this alongside GBPJPY which I was already in and locked in profit. This is an almost exact replica of the other trades we have taken in January and I’ll cover those similarities for you right now. One. And this is the most important. The market had swept a substantial amount of liquidity. Not just on the timeframe we place our entry on, but also higher timeframes, specifically the daily and 4hr. Two. The market formed fresh imbalance (FIMB) during London open with high volume immediately after the sweep of liquidity above the Asian range. Three. We were residing within a large supply zone which we mark out within our volatility analysis. Liquidity shapes the markets, financial institutions need liquidity to execute huge trades as efficiently as possible with minimal slippage & risk, whilst optimising the discount they receive. The patterns you see on the chart are directly and indirectly influenced by financial institutions market makers, and liquidity providers. It is solely retail traders that views them as patterns, larger players just see the market for what it is, clustered levels of liquidity ripe for the taking. 24th October XAUUSD. Forgot to post this last week. Numerous student caught this with me as gold was rallying. Gold looks like it may have topped, however there is always the change of continuation upwards. I’m waiting for stronger signals to show before deciding what direction to trade. We’ve seen a large spike downwards although it is wicking heavily back up. What I want to see is for bullish daily and even 12hr imbalances start to form to start looking for longs again. #gold #forex #trading #smc #trader

Created this to show the correlation with btc and presidential elections. Coincidental? Maybe. There are many factors at play especially with the btc halving event also taking place at a similar time period every 4 years. But new governments bring new policies and have had a tendency to increase regulation and clarity on crypto with each new president. And it cannot be denied that the last time Trump came to office, the crypto market sky rocketed. What I’m anticipating on the GBPUSD. Aligning with our actions last week, we are going to continue looking at shorts to jump on this bearish momentum the pound is experiencing against the dollar. There is an equal high liquidity level built up just above current price action, and this is a level that will likely be targeted by the market within the next few days. When this sweep occurs we will simply wait for a high volume supply zone on our entry timeframe to jump in on bearish order-flow continuation.
