TOP 10 Y’all have been asking me for my updated top sunscreens, so after much deliberation, here are my top! NOT SPONSORED For reference, I have oily, acne-prone, sensitive and dehydrated skin. I live in a hot, humid climate and hence my preference is a natural/ non-shiny (but not overly matte) finish. Irritation, pilling & whitecast are deal breakers for me. I also consider price as I believe sun protection should not be expensive In no particular order (cos I love them all) NON WATER/ SWEAT RESISTANT Goodal Heartleaf Calming Moisture Sun Cream - My holy grail that so many have also loved! - The finish that is not matte but also not shiny makes this a stand out - Great for sensitive acne prone skin Isntree Onion Fresh Fluid Sun Cream - Very lightweight and hydrating - Leaves a satin finish that is not shiny as well SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum - Super viral but worth the hype! - If you hate the feeling of a layer on your skin, try this! Numbuz:n Pure-full Calming Water Sunscreen - Deeply hydrating and helps to plump up the skin - Feels like a creamy serum haruharu wonder Black Rice Moisture Airlift Daily Sunscreen - A thicker cream texture for those that are in cooler climates/ AC - Non greasy/ shiny despite the creamy texture WATER/ SWEAT RESISTANT Biore UV Aqua Rich Aqua Protect Lotion - Another holy grail for me! - Best for the humid, hot weather - Some dislike the alcohol and fragrance. Doesn’t irritate me tho Biore UV Atheism Skin Protect Essence - My go-to whenever I sweat a lot (outdoor exercise/ swim etc) - Tested to maintain UV protection layer under high temperature (40°C) & humidity (75%) Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk - Super hydrating but yet dries down powdery and matte - Blurs my pores too - Avoid if you have very deep skin tone Nivea UV Deep Protect & Care Gel - Super lightweight and it leaves your skin feeling refreshed - Disappears/ no film or stickiness on the skin Dr. Ceuracle Cica Regen Waterproof Sun - Great for family use. Body, face, children, elderly etc - Not fragranced or has no alcohol - Generous size! Hope this helps in the upcoming summer!!

All have been repurchased multiple times 🌸Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil - Washes EVERYTHING off but doesn’t dry or strip my skin at all - Perfect to use alone or in a double cleanse - Doesn’t leave a oily residue after washing off 💦Torriden DIVE IN Booster - I always recommend this on my stories cos ITS THAT GOOD - It like a full fat version of the Laneige cream skin - My dehydrated skin drinks this up - Has a balancing moisturising feeling to it too 🐌COSRX Snail Essence - A classic that I’ve bought many times - Helps to repair weakened skin barrier and even freshly popped zits - Very plumping and hydrating without being sticky 🐼Paula’s Choice BHA Gel - Helps to keep my pores clear & keep blackheads minimal - I use it as a spot treatment for large, angry cystic like acne - I highly recommend trying this GEL version over the LIQUID as it doesn’t have a strange scent, doesn’t feel oily and it feels more hydrating in fact (same results tho) ☕️TIAM Pore Minimising 21 Serum - It makes my skin less oily, reduced inflammation on those angry pimples & makes my pores look less congested - A dupe (in results not texture) for the more much expensive Paulas choice 20% that I reviewed a few days ago - Not for those that cannot handle high % of niacinamide 🖤Mian Skin Retinal Neon Serum - I talk a lot about this SG brand ( I even did an AD with them but this isn’t an AD) - Its seriously giving my skin EVERYTHING - My skin doesn’t break out as much, texture looks smoother, pores looks tighter & my skin is glowing - Quite gentle too despite containing 0.05% retinaldehyde - Beginner friendly BUT you should start slow - Doesn’t ship out of Singapore tho (hopefully global shipping will come soon) 🍦Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream - She’s the undisputed QUEEN of barrier repair - She’s thiccc, moisturising but surprisingly NOT greasy or shiny - It doesn’t clog my acne prone skin either - I will recommend this to all skin types (except for day use in the hot humid weather cos it’s a bit too heavy for that) - New version is just as good

✨𝙍𝙀𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙊𝙇 𝙍𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝙀𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎✨ I hear y’all so here’s some retinol recommendations for absolute beginners! I have reviewed them all (in-depth) so this will just be a quick rundown on the key points No matter which one you choose, just remember to start slow (start with 1 time a week and work up to 3 times a week depending on your skin) and be consistent with it! It takes months to see results :) 🍀Innisfree Retinol Cica Repair Ampoule (0.015%) - Literally the gentlest here - To the point daily usage will be no issue for most ppl (even when you first start) - Sensitive skin should try this 🦄Somebymi Retinol Eye Cream (0.1% retinol) - It’s an eye cream but you can use it on your whole face too - Very affordable 🍇Stratia Night Shift (0.15%) - Has a rich moisturising texture - Great all-in-one for the PM - Great for dry skin 🦋Cerave Resurfacing Retinol Serum (% unknown) - I recommended this to all my friends - Good balance of gentle-ness and efficacy - Great for improving skin texture and the look of pores 🍆Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream (0.1%) - Has a gel cream texture that is not too heavy - Great all-in-one for the PM - Best for oily to combination skin 🤰🏻Paula’s Choice 0.3% Retinol + 2% Bakuchiol Treatment (0.3%) - Gives the fastest results in my experience - Great for improving skin texture and pores too Hope this helps! Once you are used to retinol, you may also wanna explore retinaldehyde products (my personal favorite type of retinoid) for more results :)

Serum sunscreen My series of underrated sunscreens continues! Dr Ceuracle Hyal Reyouth Moist Sun is the sunscreen in question (self purchased) TLDR Lightweight, hydrating texture Zero whitecast or piling Great for oily skin Strong fragrance 💦Texture: This has a watery serum texture that quite unlike anything else. It is super easily absorbed and leaves a non shiny, natural finish. 🙋🏻‍♂️My opinion: this is super underrated! If you thought the skin1004 sun serum was light, you’ll be surprised when you try this! It feels exactly like a milky serum, and it leaves a non dewy but non drying finish. Great for people with oily, dehydrated skin. 🤔The downside is the fragrance which is kinda strong in my opinion. It didn’t irritate my skin thankfully. 🙌🏻Recommended for: All skin types, especially those in hot humid climate. It’s also really affordable ($14 on @bemusedkorea ) which is amazing. Milk for the lips? This is the viral Lip Potion Steaming Milk which I recently picked up from @ksisters.sg recently! This is kinda like a milky lip serum that helps to hydrate and fill in the wrinkles of your lip. Skincare combos These are some unlikely skincare pairings that I found to work REALLY synergistically! When paired together, they somehow enhance the effects of each other Reedle Shot + Uriage Depiderm Serum - Amazing for fading dark spots - The reedle shot is great for improving skin smoothness but it lack the result of fading dark spots - When paired with the Depiderm, it somehow boosts the brightening effect of the Depiderm, resulting in faster fading of dark spots Takami Skinpeel Essence + Kiehls Micro-dose Retinol Serum - An unlikely combo that I never saw coming! - After experimenting with using them together and separately, I found that the skin smoothening + pore (appearance) reducing effect is INSANE when paired together - Not a surprise tho as the Skinpeel Essence essentially helps to improve absorption of other skincare EqualRXN PHA Oat Serum + Mian Skin Neon Retinal Serum - The combination of these 2 indie brands is MAGIC - I raved about this combo for years and its still THAT GOOD - When combined, it makes your skin feel BABY SMOOTH - The Oat serum helps to buffer the dryness and irritation from the retinal. Reedle Shot - Better for improving skin texture and pores in my experience - works faster too - helps to make your skin feel smoother in all aspects - not the best for super sensitive skin cos it’s more prickly and aggravating Exosome Shot - Has a gel texture that plumps up your skin as well - Better for fading dark spots - not as good as the Reedle for skin texture and pores - gentler and less prickly - more pricy too I personally will pick the VT Reedle cos it gives me faster results. Blackheads Blackheads are honestly so annoying. The moment you lapse on your skincare regimen, it appears like clockwork. I’ve been on a hunt for a gentle way to deal with my blackheads without resorting to harsh nose strips.
