After hearing many armchair analysis on advancing Bangladesh 2.0, I've decided to write a book documenting my personal, biased, and limited strategy for moving Bangladesh 2.0 forward. I believe my smarter, more knowledgeable friends should share their approaches and analyses to accelerate finding the true path. I will publish mine soon.

A good friend will translate it in Bangla as well.

Several American friends have asked why I suddenly became passionate about Bangladesh—a country I once ignored. As a nearly assimilated immigrant, I found my home here. My children are American, and I proudly support the generous American spirit that fosters unmatched individual growth. Still, I’m not sure 90% of Americans truly align with current politics—a sentiment shared globally. Since August 5th, 2024, inspired by a student-led revolution that ousted a 15-year dictator, I’ve gone all-in on Bangladesh. The uprising brought hope, appointing Dr. Muhammad Yunus—a Nobel Prize winner for his work in poverty alleviation through microfinance—as Chief Advisor. My wife and I decided to support the youth of Bangladesh with our resources. I believe Bangladesh will never go back to its past struggles—because of its youth. Sixty percent (60%) of the population is under 30. That’s where my hope lies. And it’s reinforced by Dr. Yunus, an 84-year-old economist radiating optimism and resolve. He’s committed to lifting Bangladesh—and offering the world a model worth watching. Inspired by him, I launched my first Social Business—a for-profit company that caps investor returns to prevent greed-driven growth. It’s still unproven and risky in its first year, but my 33 years of experience, including 24 running a software company, give me confidence in its potential. I share this to inspire others: life isn’t about money or fame. Chasing them often ends in disappointment. Serving others with respect and kindness—that’s how you succeed as a human being. Be one!
