Hi everyone! 🌟 I can’t believe we’re already nearing the end of the year — just four months to go! It’s been an incredibly busy and exciting time for us at JH Design, with new projects and an expanding team. For all the new followers here, welcome! I thought this would be a great moment to introduce myself. I’m Joelle, a passionate product designer. I’m half Turkish and half Spanish, and I studied in Milan, Italy, and began my design journey by working with Karim Rashid in New York. I then launched JH Design and showcased my work at various global exhibitions. My journey continued in Istanbul, where I joined my family’s company, Neotek, in the furniture department. There, I had the chance to collaborate with talented interior designers on contract and retail projects and worked with leading international brands in design, office, and outdoor furniture. This experience only fueled my passion for designing furniture and accessories. In 2017, I moved to Dubai and started working at a design gallery in Alserkal Avenue. During the pandemic, I transformed our guest bedroom into a home office, which led to unexpected design inquiries from people who noticed my work during my husband’s Zoom calls! I began freelancing, designing home offices for friends and family, and that’s how my journey in residential and office projects began in Dubai. It’s been four amazing years, and I’m truly grateful for the path that brought me here. To my clients and followers who have become friends along the way, thank you!
