After church lunch dates with my mom always feel extra special. 🫶 We tried Shakey’s Super Plate for 599 pesos, good for two already. You get two full meals of your choice, iced tea, and four pieces of mozzarella cheese sticks. 16km done for 2025. 🎉 Still can’t believe I finished it. Some parts were hard, some were actually fun, but every step reminded me why I started running. It’s not about speed or distance all the time. It’s about showing up even when it gets uncomfortable. Thank You, Lord. 💪 I don’t know yet if I’ll really make it to 42km this year, but I know I will try. If you love Cebu food you will be happy to know that Liloan’s famous liempo is finally here in Manila. They are serving their well loved specialties along with a wide selection of Filipino dishes from appetizers to mains and even desserts. 🫶 One of my absolute favorites is their Sinigang sa Pakwan na Liempo. As someone who truly loves sinigang this dish hit all the right notes. It is comforting flavorful and incredibly light on the palate.
