Congrats to my oldest son for finishing his first year of middle school with honors! He was recognized at the end of the year ceremony at school. Dominic is in the academically talented program for the school district, all honors classes, and plays percussion in the band. In order to play percussion the kids need to get a 97 or above on all tests at the beginning of the year. I’m so proud of all his hard work. He is now officially a 7th grader. It’s the end of our elementary school era. Congratulations to my youngest son Scott who graduated 5th grade last week!! I’m so proud of his hard work, growth, and grades. He worked extremely diligently to overcome his speech issues with his amazing speech teacher. Scotty actually graduated from speech therapy much sooner than excepted. They told me it would take seven years until he was able to pronounce the sounds correctly. However, he was able to do it in three years.
