This same sentiment change is likely happening across many of America’s most important allies - not just Canada. I’m also guessing the change is largely bipartisan; therefore I’d be curious to see a follow-up on this showing favo(u)ability change but segmented by registered conservatives and liberal voters in Canada.

“Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners. And necessity has made us allies. Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder.” ~ JFK, Ottawa 1961

The US is alienating all of its closest friends and partners - meanwhile assuming that it will continue to be the hegemon without said friends. There’s not a lot of historical precedence for this behaviour leading to a good outcome for anyone - especially said hegemon.

Not typically a part of @fordnation but I want to give Doug a high five for his performance the last few weeks. Also where can I buy this hat? https://t.co/d2zwQpaVh7

Other than the confusing fact that @MarkJCarney described his hometown in the NWT as a part of Alberta, this interview is compelling. He seems likeable and has a normal sense of humour. Curious to understand how he plans to balance the “here and now” financial needs of Canadians while continuing to meet our country’s climate goals. Also housing - how does he plan to break from current Liberal party lethargy on this topic? https://t.co/2fYGFWiuj8

Slight correction - I confused his statement, he was pointing to where all the big wildfires were; both in NWT and in AB.

Spokane is yet another example of how we can unleash an explosion in housing starts here in Canada. We need to be building more than 250K homes a year - we have the resources, the land and the demand for housing. Let’s go!

There’s some brutal irony in here. Imported from the US to Canada then back to US but still cheaper than if just bought from the US originally? Root causes need to be identified — if Canada can do this why can’t the US?! https://t.co/nZ8H3VC6I6
