I joined booktok/stagram when I was severely burnt out from an abusive boss and desperately needed more book friends. I’ve made so many amazing friends since then and feel more inspired than I have in my life (@bookish.millennial was the first person I ever met in person and now our sons ((dogs)) are besties🥹) 8. Duolingo gal🫡🦉 I’m pretty fluent in French and am currently learning Italian, Turkish, Mandarin, and Scottish Gaelic 9. Reading is political. 🇮🇪Ireland dump and reading update☀️ First off if you ever get the chance to write sex-positive comedy scripts in Ireland with your mom, I gotta say I can’t recommend enough. five stars. 10/10 would do it again. Second- BOOK UPDATE🫵🫵📚 📖currently reading: ill look for you everywhere by THE @thechamberofsecretbooks and giggling squealing kicking my feet at the romance oh my god it hurts so good (I may or may not relate personally to certain relationships👀or tropes👀 that occur……) 📖just finished Intermezzo by Sally Rooney and tbh I loved it but not as much as her others. Mostly because there was one character that, I’m so sorry, but I hated with my whole soul. I want nothing but awful things for them. It keeps me up at night that they had a happy-ish ending. I don’t wanna include spoilers but if you want a hint it rhymes with “dive-in”. You can’t just hate women and get away with it I’m sorry but there must be consequences!! (She said, discussing a fictional character that she literally would never meet). Everything else about it I absolutely loved.
