Detailed description in caption … . . . Data Structures and Algorithms 1. Arrays -> Very Important. Do as many questions as you can. 2. Strings -> Similar to Arrays. It won’t take much time if you have practiced arrays enough 2. Dynamic Arrays -> Useful for solving questions. Vectors in C++, ArrayLists in Java etc. 3. LinkedList -> Practice 5-10 standard questions. Don’t spend too much time on this topic. 4. Binary Tree -> Do as many questions as possible. You should be able to write the code for tree traversals within minutes. 5. BST -> Practice 5-10 standard questions. It is very much similar to Binary Tree. 6. Graph -> You should know basic algorithms like Breadth First Search and Depth First Search and Topological sorting. It is asked in interviews. 7. DP -> If your target is not very high paying companies like Amazon you can skip this concept. But good to know standard concepts. 8. Recursion -> Practice ~5 questions. 9. HashMap -> Learn the basics. You’ll use them in above topics anyway. No need to practice separately. 10. Heap -> If your target is not very high paying companies like Amazon you can skip this concept. DBMS 1. EXPLAIN - Use explain keyword before every query to know the working of the internals of the DB and how the query is working. 2. SELECT - Practice these with joins as much as possible. 3. JOINS - Most Important. 4. GROUP BY 5. HAVING 6.
